runtime<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0initiates the\u00a0in.sight<\/strong>\u00a0performance series\u2014an ongoing investigation into technology-mediated expression and embodied systems of code, light, sound, and space.<\/p>\n

Structured in two movements\u2014one contemplative, one kinetic\u2014runtime<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0traces memory not as something fixed, but as something performed: accessed, executed, and ultimately transformed. Data dissolves into atmosphere. Archive evolves into signal. A body navigates through stored time.<\/p>\n

Drawing from Groupwork’s background in ambient rave design and environmental curation,\u00a0runtime<\/em>\u00a0blurs the boundaries between signal and surface, score and system. The performance moves not forward but\u00a0through<\/strong>\u2014looping, refracting, synchronizing.<\/p>\n

runtime<\/strong><\/em> is recognition through repetition\u2014meaning built from echo.<\/p>\n

This performance contains sequences of flashing lights which may affect individuals who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or other photosensitivity\u00a0conditions. The second half of the\u00a0performance will also include the use of haze.<\/em><\/div>\n
