Hosted by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/groupwork.fyi\/\">Groupwork<\/a>, who designed and performed last year\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tornspacetheater.com\/home\/middle-distance-a-guided-calibration\/\">middle distance<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tornspacetheater.com\/home\/middle-distance-a-guided-calibration\/\">: a guided calibration<\/a>\u00a0at Torn Space, this event continues their commitment to crafting environments that are both compressed and expanded by sound and light.<\/p>\n<p>The evening features performances by two influential figures in the experimental ambient scene. Jake Muir, a Berlin-based musician, is known for his glacial, intimate, and unsettling productions that mesh sculpted field recordings with intricately dissected samples.
