An original 1930 film of Lamentation performed by the masterful Martha Graham, will be followed by three commissioned dance pieces in response to and inspired by the Graham piece.  In addition to live music performances, a video showing of an original dance work by a former Martha Graham Dance Company (MGDC) member, and a live performance by  a current MGDC dancer will provide an exciting evening of deeply theatrical Modern Dance.
