runtime initiates the in.sight performance series—an ongoing investigation into technology-mediated expression and embodied systems of code, light, sound, and space.

Drawing from Groupwork’s background in ambient rave design and environmental curation, runtime blurs the boundaries between signal and surface, score and system. The performance moves not forward but through—looping, refracting, synchronizing.

runtime is recognition through repetition—meaning built from echo.

2025 Intersection: Performance Series

Torn Space launches its 25th season with exciting interdisciplinary performances in the 2025 INTERSECTION: Performance Series. Returning with its four signature tiers of programming: the Mainstage Series, Individual Artist Series, Agents of Change, and Site-Specific Works, Torn Space provides Buffalo audiences and artists with a platform for avant-garde and interdisciplinary performance experiences, cultivating unique gathering spaces for creatives whose work is siloed in specific communities, and offering original groundbreaking performances in its signature design-forward style.
